Step 4 – Go to your steam library and open your launch options for CIV. For me this was as follows – D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier’s Civilization VI\Base\Binaries\Win64Steam\CivilizationVI_DX12.exe Step 3 – Get the file path through to the application and copy it.
Depending on whether you use DX12 or not make sure you know which one you want to launch with. Step 2 – From there go into – Sid Meier’s Civilization VI\Base\Binaries\Win64Steam. Step 1 – Locate where your game application is installed, for me this was under the standard steamapps – common – CIV. I’ve seen a lot of reviews / comments about people not being able to launch the game or only launch it with certain DLCs or Mods, this is just an ‘easy’ fix that worked for me to just skip the launcher all together, Hope it helps!
